A Day of Exercise: Swam, Walked, Started to run!

On Saturday, March 6, 2010, I began my day early. I woke up, logged onto SQPN Connect, and then watched the live recording of Catholic Weekend!

Then, the afternoon approached and my exercise began! In the afternoon--between 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.-- I had my Special Olympics swim practice and same a whole bunch of 200 yards freestyle and whole bunch of 50 yards backstroke.

Then, after my mom and I went to a trail a bit of a distance away (don't ask me while we had to drive a distance) and I walked about a mile or so.

Then, once I got home and dinner wasn't ready to eat yet, I decided to do a "surprise-sneaky" thing and that was to walk 2 miles to this Ballydoyle Irish Pub & Restaurant, where my mom and a friend (who's name is similar to that of what you call the place where you have to go and release some bodily functions). After I had a sip (and I repeat, just a sip) of this red wine called "Malbec." While I was in the pub, I recorded a little bit of audio on my digital voice recorder, so who knows if that'll make the "bloopers" at the end of my podcast, perhaps not.

Then, I walked home, well I half ran a little bit and walked a little bit--which was another 2 miles. The reason for starting to run is thanks to the "Heathly Catholic" encouragement from Fr. Roderick!

So, in total I walked a total of 4 miles before dinner and a total of at least 5 miles on Saturday, March 6, 2010.
